Cabinetry Design Process
Recognizing the kitchen as the heart of the home, we aim to create beautiful and personalized spaces for each client. We kick off the process with a complimentary design consultation, assessing the space through a site visit or a call where we review your plan or architectural plans.
To begin shaping your vision, we initiate a design retainer, which jumpstarts the design process. This non-refundable retainer is fully credited towards the purchase of your custom cabinetry. It includes conceptual floor plans, cabinetry CAD drawings, and space planning, with the retainer amount tailored to the project scope and design needs.
In the design development phase, we guide you through choosing cabinetry door styles, evaluating appliance options, and planning appliance placements. We’ll help select and order cabinetry samples based on your chosen styles, paint or stain colors, and material preferences. Additionally, we will assist in selecting cabinetry hardware and countertops during this stage of the design process.
Once you approve your design, our team will provide a final quote to review with you. After finalizing and signing off on all drawings and the appliance package, we conduct a final field measurement. Each set of drawings is carefully reviewed before final approval. A deposit is required to proceed with ordering your custom cabinetry. The remaining balance is due upon completion of production and shipment of your cabinets. We will provide a final set of plans, including numbered drawings and a detailed parts list, to the installation and construction team.
A member of our team personally oversees the delivery of your custom cabinetry to your home and ensures seamless installation by coordinating with your on-site installer. Detailed drawings are reviewed to guarantee accuracy during the installation process, ensuring every aspect meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
After your new cabinets have been installed, a member of our team will review the final installation and address any punch list items or other concerns. We will also review care and use instructions for your new cabinets. We only partner with reputable, high-quality cabinet manufacturers and all our cabinet lines offer either lifetime or limited lifetime warranties (more detail available).
